Interactive Cycling Map for Metro Vancouver

http://www.cyclevancouver.ubc.ca/
interactive cycling map developed by the UBC Centre for Health & Environmental Research last year, which I think would be great to (one day) develop for PG (some of you probably already know about this) – it’s a web-based planner that helps cyclists plan their route based on a preference such as air quality, distance, elevation gain, green spaces, cycle routes only, etc. The planner also estimates the savings in greenhouse gas emissions (compared to driving the same trip) and calculates the number of calories burned over the course of a given route. You can find it at www.cyclevancouver.ubc.ca.
